Since 1946 Thunderbird has been synonymous with global leadership. Rated the No. 1 school for international business for the 14th year straight by U.S. News & World Report is a testament to Thunderbird which has a "long-standing expertise in developing global leaders with the business skills, global mindset, and social responsibility to successfully navigate a complex global economy. Our graduates understand the importance of sustainable business practices and are skilled in producing real, lasting value for their companies, communities, and the world,” said Thunderbird President Ángel Cabrera, Ph.D.
With 400 members the Atlanta Chapter continues the tradition explained by Dr. Cabrera to connect with communities by sponsoring a Fundraiser Concert featuring Atlanta's own Francine Reed on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheater in Mableton (South Cobb) to help send Georgians to Thunderbird.
Thunderbirds are involved with the many international companies, schools, associations, and organizations here in Atlanta and we welcome cross participation to further the global mindset. Through working together we further all of our causes and to make the future a more inter-connected world.
